After thinking and interviewing a few people about their early memories I decided to go the one on emigration. Donal emigrated with his family in the 80's to sunny Austraila. They emigrated at the height of the Troubles. They moved around the time when Bobby Sands died. Growing up here with all the bother you can imagine just how different life would have been in Austraila, a world away from Derry.
I want to show this memory through editorial design and photography. I intend to show the difference in life in Derry to Austraila. Althogh they spoke the language there where communication barriers, which are described during the story.
